Predictions for WWE in 2022

A new dawn
A new day (not that one)
is coming... 2022!

With a new year around the corner, what predictions do you have for WWE in 2022? Will anybody be able to topple Roman Reigns?, are more WWE releases set to come? and could WWE be put up for sale!

While WWE may have released a lot of talent in 2021 I think with the first wave of AEW contracts expiring and the uncertainty of ROH’s future that WWE has a unique opportunity to go after some fresh talent this next year. I also think that both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly will be back in WWE once they get their families started with the birth of their children. I know I said Kyle was going to AEW for obvious reasons but I just don’t see WWE letting someone with his talent get away without making a substantial offer to him and given he’s just starting a family it’s highly probable that he accepts said offer from WWE. I think financially it will be a good year for WWE but like I’ve said before wrestling isn’t as popular as it once was and ratings across the board in the wrestling industry prove that whether that plays a factor in WWE’s or really any promotions decisions this next year remains to be seen.

In 2022 we finally see the return of Ronda Rousey in time before the next Wrestlemania... Brock takes the belt from Roman.
